Forge Machine Operator

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Operate forging machines to produce high-quality industrial fasteners
• Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Safety Sensitive Position

• Work Environment: Primary work environment is the production floor; Secondary work environment is the office
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift
• Able to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns
• Frequent standing on their feet for extended periods of time
• Occasional stooping and walking required

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and preset gauges preferred
• Prior experience operating forging machines preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
