Forge Machine Operator

Essential Functions / Responsibilities: Operate forging machines to produce high-quality industrial fasteners Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals Safety Sensitive Position Other duties as needed or required Work Environment: Primary work environment is the production floor Secondary work environment is the office Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the entire shift Ability to be aware of surroundings for safety concerns While performing duties of this job the employee will be required to frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time. Occasion stooping and walking will be required Required Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Experience using micrometers, calipers, and preset gauges preferred Prior experience operating forging machines preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Special Requirements: Safety Sensitive: This job is designated by Valley Forge & Bolt Mfg.
