    • Support Whitebark’s Forest Health program.
    • Assist with field and office work related to forestry and fuels reduction projects.
    • Conduct forest health monitoring, data collection, contract inspections, unit layout, timber designation, and coordinate with partners.
    • Use forestry tools and GIS-based data collection software.
    • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This position plays a critical role in advancing strategic forest health initiatives, supporting staff development, fostering collaborative relationships, and driving the successful execution of landscape-scale restoration efforts that enhance ecosystem resilience and community wildfire preparedness.

  • Proficiency in GIS software and data collection tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
