  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams and partners to deliver ecological forest restoration and fuels reduction treatments.
  • Manage project timelines and operational logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison with federal, state, local, Tribal, and nonprofit partners.

• Forest Health Seasonal Forestry Technician

  • Support Whitebark’s Forest Health program.
  • Assist with field and office work related to forestry and fuels reduction projects.
  • Conduct forest health monitoring, data collection, contract inspections, unit layout, timber designation, and coordinate with partners.
  • Use forestry tools and GIS-based data collection software.
  • Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., environmental science, forestry, ecology).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in GIS software and data collection tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
