- Oversee multidisciplinary teams and partners to deliver ecological forest restoration and fuels reduction treatments.
- Manage project timelines and operational logistics.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project objectives.
- Serve as a key liaison with federal, state, local, Tribal, and nonprofit partners.
Forest Health Seasonal Forestry Technician
- Support Whitebark’s Forest Health program.
- Assist with field and office work related to forestry and fuels reduction projects.
- Conduct forest health monitoring, data collection, contract inspections, unit layout, timber designation, and coordinate with partners.
- Use forestry tools and GIS-based data collection software.
- Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This position plays a critical role in advancing strategic forest health initiatives, supporting staff development, fostering collaborative relationships, and driving the successful execution of landscape-scale restoration efforts that enhance ecosystem resilience and community wildfire preparedness.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
