Foreperson - NON-UNION

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices and conducts safety training.
• Communicates with property owners about work to be done and responsibilities.
• Maintains accurate records and reports on crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and manages resources effectively.
• Furnishes reports to supervisors on various aspects of the crew’s operations.
• Assists in emergency situations to eliminate hazards.
• Maintains equipment and performs necessary repairs.
• Ensures compliance with DOT maintenance and inspection requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical drawings and symbols.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organization skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to adjust to field requirements and take independent action.
• Valid driver’s license and commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Capable of safely driving an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• No fear of heights.
• Able to travel for storm work.
