Forensics - Insurance and Federal Claims Services - Grants - Senior Manager
About the role
EY's Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services practice specializes in helping clients achieve their financial recovery goals following disaster events such as hurricanes, fires, tornadoes, and pandemics. This team offers grants management, compliance, and insurance claims services to some of the most complex and prestigious public and private sector entities.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement teams to provide government and public sector clients with a variety of services associated with the management and compliance of disaster recovery funding made available through complex grant and stimulus programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, ARPA).
- Manage large projects for states and local governments.
- Develop client relationships.
- Develop and implement engagement processes.
- Work with stakeholders to resolve complex compliance issues.
- Manage teams who undertake the monitoring of federally funded projects.
- Lead business and practice development initiatives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
- 9+ years’ related compliance, audit, financial management, disaster recovery and/or emergency management experience, ideally with a government agency or professional services firm.

- A professional designation, such as CPA, CFE, or CEM.

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the confidence to communicate complex technical concepts to a wide range of audiences.
- A quantifiable history of business development success.

What We Offer
- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
- The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $134,000 to $305,900.
- The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $160,800 to $347,700.
- Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
- In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
