About the role

Weaver is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Forensic and Litigation Services practice. This role offers an opportunity to leverage your expertise in various industries and travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead litigation support engagements, including the development of business valuation models, separate property tracing, and other forensic accounting-related engagements.
  • Draft expert reports and work closely with leadership to prepare and execute business and marketing plans.
  • Manage junior staff and assist in the development of business and new engagement opportunities.
  • Work closely with attorneys to develop and maintain strong relationships and prepare engagement proposals and client deliverables.
  • Travel to client sites based on client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CFE, ASA, CVA, or similar license or credential.
  • 6+ years of public accounting, dispute consulting, and/or forensic accounting experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain attorney relationships and prepare engagement proposals and client deliverables.
  • Experience supervising teams of all sizes.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing staff.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience testifying or willingness to testify as an expert witness in financial, valuation, and accounting-related matters.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically full-time, with occasional travel to client sites.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 6+ years of public accounting, dispute consulting, and/or forensic accounting experience. A CPA, CFE, ASA, CVA, or similar license or credential is preferred, as is experience supervising teams and managing junior staff.
