About the role
The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth seeks a Forensic Psychologist to join their faculty and provide forensic psychological services at New Hampshire Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Work with an engaged, multidisciplinary team to provide state-of-the-art forensic psychological services to patients with severe behavioral health illnesses in an inpatient setting.
- Provide clinical services to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Contribute to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through teaching and supervision.
- Participate in research activities related to forensic psychology.
Requirements
- Completion of a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited program.
- Completion of a predoctoral internship from an APA- or CPA-accredited internship program.
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship training in forensic psychology.
- Licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in the state of NH.

- Experience working with people with severe behavioral health illnesses.
