About the role
The Psychology department at the Oklahoma Forensic Center is seeking a Forensic Psychologist II to provide direct care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient setting. Services include assessment and therapy, behavior management, and may involve conducting competence to stand trial evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological assessments and therapy to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Conduct behavior management strategies as needed.
- May be required to conduct competence to stand trial evaluations after receiving sufficient training and supervision.
Requirements
- A current license by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
- Two (2) years of experience as a licensed psychologist (Forensic Psychologist II).
- A master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or university, with a specialty in counseling psychology, plus one (1) academic year in a full-time post-master’s or pre-doctoral internship or one (1) year of full-time experience, while enrolled in a major doctoral study program, under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist (Psychologist).
