Forensic Nurse Examiner

About the Role

Provide specialized care and forensic assessment for patients, families, and legal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate compassionate patient care
• Conduct forensic evaluations related to trauma, death, and violence
• Provide expert testimony
• Collaborate with staff to maintain clinical standards
• Support program operations and after-hours testing services
• Deliver high-quality forensic nursing services
• Support legal and clinical investigations
• Contribute to program development and staff guidance

Requirements

• Completion of FNE/SANE education meeting North Carolina standards
• Current RN licensure
• SANE certification
• Minimum of two years relevant clinical experience

Qualifications

Preferred: Master’s in Nursing and national certification.
