About the role

PathGroup’s forensic pathology division is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist to support our forensic services in Tyler, Texas. This is a unique opportunity for a forensic pathologist seeking a low-volume, highly autonomous practice with a strong focus on medico-legal work and case ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Perform forensic autopsies and postmortem examinations
  • Determine cause and manner of death
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide courtroom testimony when required
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and investigative teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely case documentation
  • Participate in team-based scheduling and coverage
