PathGroup’s forensic pathology division, Forensic Medical Management Services of Texas, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Forensic Pathologist to join our established team in Beaumont, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing forensic program supported by a collaborative team of experienced forensic pathologists.

About the Role

  • Established forensic team of 3 physicians—seeking a 4th due to continued growth
  • Approximately 25 cases per week across the team
  • Structured schedule with ~6–8 cutting days per month
  • Diverse case mix including significant administrative and medico-legal work, including testimony preparation
  • Strong collaboration with PathGroup’s broader forensic network, including Nashville

Responsibilities

  • Perform forensic autopsies and postmortem examinations
  • Determine cause and manner of death
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide courtroom testimony when required
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, legal professionals, and investigative teams
  • Ensure accurate and timely case documentation
  • Participate in team-based scheduling and coverage
