Foreman (Weekend Shift Fri-Sun)

About the role

Ameron Pole Products LLC, a subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is seeking a Facility Foreman for our Tulsa, OK plant. In this role, you will oversee multiple activities simultaneously, take ownership of team output, and maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Ameron is an industry leader in engineering and fabricating concrete and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees follow all safety procedures and protocols, serve on safety committees, and complete regular safety audits
• Manage daily production operations of heavy industrial products for assigned work groups
• Set production schedules based on production introduction, equipment efficiency, and quality metrics
• Coach employees on work quality and quantity, such as fit-up and welding processes, ensuring goals are met and solving issues as they arise
• Ensure the production of sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production cost
• Assist in continuous improvement activities to improve the movement of materials through various production processes
• Manage hourly employees, monitor and approve time sheets and work logs
• Assign employees to workstations and ensure proper training is completed
• Manage all aspects of fit-up and welding processes for assigned work groups and production bays, ensuring adherence to production policies and procedures

Requirements

• No less than 2 years of successful leadership experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience in a metal fabrication or welding facility, specifically with flux and metal core welding, is highly preferred
• Thorough knowledge of blueprints and layouts
• High degree of dependability, maturity, and strong leadership characteristics demonstrated through previous professional work experience
• Ability to work 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• Regular and predictable attendance, a great attitude, and ability to work well with a team toward achieving a common goal
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
• Experience operating small to large forklifts
