Foreman (Vertical Formwork)

About the role

Join us as a Foreman (Vertical Formwork) and shape strong structures with precision and stability. We're looking for a skilled individual to manage all aspects of project field operations.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of project field operations from beginning to end
• Oversees and delegates to carpenters and laborers
• Reviews scope of work and field use drawings with Project & Operations Managers
• Coordinates concrete pumping as required
• Prepares and submits daily reports
• Communicates and coordinates manpower needs directly with Operations Manager
• Responsible for overseeing jobsite safety and site specific rules
• Performs quality control during each placement
• Attends scheduled foreman meetings
• Attends job site meetings as needed
• Responsible for company utility truck, including keeping clean and communicating maintenance needs
• Responsible for assigned company tools and keeping truck stocked
• Responsible for maintenance of equipment on site, including running through daily checklist on each piece of equipment
• Communicates unexcused absences and tardiness to Operations Manager

Requirements

• Ability to read plans ("blueprints", "building drawings")
• Extensive knowledge of power tools
• Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in tying rebar, forming footings & walls, placing & finishing concrete
• Driver's License (Required)
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred)
• OSHA 10 / 30 (Min/Preferred)
• Mass Hoisting License (Preferred)
