About the role
Join us as a Foreman (Vertical Formwork) and shape strong structures with precision and stability. We're looking for a skilled individual to manage all aspects of project field operations.
Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of project field operations from beginning to end
- Oversees and delegates to carpenters and laborers
- Reviews scope of work and field use drawings with Project & Operations Managers
- Coordinates concrete pumping as required
- Prepares and submits daily reports
- Communicates and coordinates manpower needs directly with Operations Manager
- Responsible for overseeing jobsite safety and site specific rules
- Performs quality control during each placement
- Attends scheduled foreman meetings
- Attends job site meetings as needed
- Responsible for company utility truck, including keeping clean and communicating maintenance needs
- Responsible for assigned company tools and keeping truck stocked
- Responsible for maintenance of equipment on site, including running through daily checklist on each piece of equipment
- Communicates unexcused absences and tardiness to Operations Manager
Requirements
- Ability to read plans ("blueprints", "building drawings")
- Extensive knowledge of power tools
- Possession of basic hand tools and reliable transportation
- Capable of climbing on ladders and carrying at least 80 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tying rebar, forming footings & walls, placing & finishing concrete
- Driver's License (Required)
- DOT Medical Card (Preferred)
- OSHA 10 / 30 (Min/Preferred)
- Mass Hoisting License (Preferred)
