About the role

Discover a more connected career at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead crews to meet project timelines
  • Help with training of crew members
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
  • Auxiliary tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
  • At least three years of related work experience
  • Previous Foreman experience preferred

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred

Skills

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with heavy equipment and machinery
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
