About the role
Discover a more connected career at CableCom, LLC. As a Foreman on our Telecom Underground team, you’ll lead crews in the installation and maintenance of underground telecommunication systems. You’ll ensure everyone is following safety protocols and project timelines.Responsibilities
- Lead crews to meet project timelines
- Help with training of crew members
- Read and understand blueprints
- Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
- Auxiliary support for the Supervisor with daily activities
- Communicate with property owners regarding work to be performed and resolve any issues
- Safely use heavy equipment and machinery
- Perform work in all weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- A valid driver’s license
- A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
- At least three years of related work experience
- Previous Foreman experience preferred
Physical Abilities & Exposures
- Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
- Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
Pay
The wage range for Foreman Telecom Underground is $25.00 - $32.00.Benefits
