Foreman - Site Work-Portland ME

Position Summary

Captures activities of a work crew engaged in installing underground utilities, such as water, sewer, and drainage systems, as well as building pad excavations and general site grading. Must understand construction and schematic drawings to install work according to plans and specifications.

Hiring Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years' experience in site work, including excavation and earthwork, underground utilities (water, sewer, drainage systems), roadway and pavement construction, and site development
• Ability to work within precise limits of standards of accuracy and make decisions based on measurable criteria
• Leadership and motivation skills for work crews
• Proficiency in MS Office, Procore, GPS Technologies (Trimble, Topcon)
• OSHA-10 Certification (company-supported if not current)
• DOT Medical Card (assistance provided)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Successful drug screen
• Background check
• Motor vehicle record (MVR) review per federal/state regulations
