What You’ll Do
- Strategically plan and delegate tasks to apprentices and journeyman on the jobsite
- Train and develop staff on jobs to create competent and capable teams
- Partner with Kidwell Project Management team to coordinate change orders, purchasing, RFI’s, and other tasks to help support a successful job
- Cook with the Field Personnel Director to predict future staffing needs
- Work from drawings and blueprints supplied to make efficient use of materials and labor, in order to provide a high-quality installation and services
- Manage and coordinate changes to job scope, always aiming to keep jobs within the estimated budget and timeline
- Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and jobs
- Work effectively with the general contractor and other contractors on site to maintain project timelines
- Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job
- Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience managing small to medium job sites and a Journeyman’s license are required
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills are required
- Must be passionate about developing an outstanding team and creating an environment that allows for growth opportunities
- Minimum of 5 years of field experience is preferred
Qualifications
Current State of Nebraska Journeyman license is required.
