About the role

As a Foreman at Network Connex, you’ll manage construction progress and oversee the quality and safety of your crew while maintaining constant communication with supervisors to provide detailed updates on-site progress.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the crew from the beginning of a project through completion, ensuring safety and quality standards, budget, and timelines are met.
  • Climb and work on communications towers; install, replace, and repair antenna equipment.
  • Direct and supervise the installation and maintenance services for wireless radio and antenna systems on towers, rooftops, and other elevated structures.
  • Review documentation with the crew to prepare for the build, assemble necessary materials, and determine required installation methods.
  • Supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.
  • Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.
  • Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per deliverable timelines.
  • Train crew members on proper safety and quality standards to align with the CCDP (Crew Career Development Program).
  • Verify crew members have proper certifications and skillsets to perform the scope of work.
  • Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed.
  • Submit daily reports on-site progress, including potential schedule delays or missing materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug testing.
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets Company requirements.
  • Good physical condition; ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with a 50 lb. load.
  • Ability to travel away from home, including weekends.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.

Preferred Experience

  • 3-5 years of wireless telecommunications industry experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Ability to perform fiber, sweep, and PIM testing.
  • Ability to operate aerial lifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment as needed.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to schedules.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to motivate, lead, teach, and train on proper work and safety procedures.
