Foreman Electrician

Electrex Industrial Solutions, founded in 1957, is a family-owned business specializing in industrial, electrical, and mechanical projects. We serve the automotive manufacturing industry, as well as tool & die, robotics, stamping presses, plastic injection, build-outs, commercial buildings, and many other facilities.

About the role

Full-time, permanent position meeting at our headquarters in Harrison Township and driving company trucks to customers’ facilities. Commute time to and from job sites will be paid when you meet at our shop.

Responsibilities

• Manage job sites, including communicating with customers and project managers
• Supervise other electricians and instruct apprentices
• Complete job work orders and order materials as needed
• Install, service, and troubleshoot various electrical systems
• Bend pipe with dial benders and hydraulic benders
• Pull wire up to 500MCM using tugers and pulleys
• Install bus duct, bus plugs, switchgear, and CT cabinets
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes
• Work 40+ hours per week, including weekends and evenings when required

Requirements

• Valid Master or Journeyman electrician license
• Experience managing job sites and supervising electricians
• Ability to bend pipe, pull wire up to 500MCM, and install bus duct/switchgear
• Customer-owned "Primary Service" experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and extreme attention to detail
• Valid chauffeur’s license with a clean driving record (required within 30 days)
• Pass a physical
