United Integrated Services (USA) Corp. is a multidisciplinary engineering and construction company based in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 2020, it is a U.S. subsidiary of United Integrated Services Co., Ltd. (UIS Taiwan), established in Taiwan in 1982. UIS provides comprehensive design-build services to high-technology industry clients for their manufacturing facility needs, including engineering design, high-tech factory planning, and timely equipment and material delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Electrical Technicians to perform tasks related to Electrical work. Manage and direct onsite manpower to ensure accuracy in completion of tasks.
- Perform hands-on cabling, termination and QA/QC work on electrical systems.
- Weekly and monthly reports of electrical system inspection and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify and address potential/ existing issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions to ensure uninterrupted facility construction and operations.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, or equipment.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances as needed.
- Collaborate with the Engineers team and other team members to plan and execute electrical projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities.
- Review progress reports, materials used and costs, contract payment application, and adjust work schedules as indicated by the reports.
- Review & reply RFI (Request for information) and change orders.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal use and client communication.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other facility maintenance staff as needed.
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technology and best practices.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education/Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or above.
- 4-5+ years of experience as an electrician, or similar role.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience required.
- OSHA 10 certificate required.
- Completed apprenticeship program or relevant certification in electrical work, a plus.
- Electrician Journeyman license, preferred.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- In-depth knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to use engineering software such as AutoCAD.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
- Language Proficiency:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Nice to have:
- Start-up experience.
- NFPA 70E Trained.
- OSHA 30 certificate.
- CPR/First-Aid certification.
- Verbal communication skills in Mandarin or Spanish.
- Additional Requirements:
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequently stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance or mechanical equipment.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform assigned tasks.
- Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and operate tools, equipment, or materials.
- Perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and arms.
- Climb ladders, stairs, or elevated surfaces as required by the job.
- Maintain visual acuity sufficient to read labels, instructions, safety signage, and documentation.
- Maintain balance and coordination while moving materials or operating equipment.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring frequent movement and manual labor.
Work Environment
- Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.
- Indoor and/or outdoor work environments, which may include varying temperatures and weather conditions.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
- Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
