Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise small to large crews on masonry and concrete projects.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and production goals.
- Cook up daily schedules, work assignments, and equipment usage.
- Maintain a safe work environment, enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
- Monitor jobsite progress, resolve challenges, and provide clear direction to the crew.
- Complete and submit daily reports, including labor hours, production updates, and safety logs.
- Mentor and train crew members, supporting their skill development and career growth.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements and project-specific guidelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial masonry, concrete, or related construction work.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate small to large crews on active jobsites.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Experience operating rough terrain forklifts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and production scheduling.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Able to read and interpret project specifications and plans.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
