Description The Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here. Job Summary The Golf Course Foreman directs the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendent. The Foreman reports directly to the golf course superintendent or assistant golf course superintendent. Duties And Responsibilities Direct the maintenance of all areas as defined by the superintendent or assistant superintendentSupervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of all equipment assigned to the courseSupervise special projects as directed by the superintendent or assistant superintendentManage and dispense supplies and materials to support maintenance activitiesDirectly supervise and train golf course employees. Provide feedback on employee training and discipline.Identify problems and communicate promptly with the superintendent or assistant superintendentProtect the company's interest by an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations, includingcourse and company policiesAdminister all aspects of the BrightView Safety ProgramRepresent BrightView Golf Course Maintenance positively and professionally, including attitude,appearance, and speechMaintain effective employee and public relations Education And Experience Knowledge of turfgrass managementKnowledge of irrigation and drainage principlesProven leadership capabilitiesAbility to operate and train on all pieces of equipment employed at the courseAbility to apply as directed fertilizers, soil conditioners, and other control productsValid driver's license Physical Demands/Requirements Occasional lifting up to 50 poundsRepetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping, sitting Work Environment This will work in outdoor and indoor work environments.Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night BrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
