About the role
Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) is seeking a Foreman to join their growing team! As a Foreman at IME, you will oversee the development of schedules, implement comprehensive job plans, and ensure seamless execution of projects. Depending on the size and complexity of the job, your responsibilities may extend to higher levels of supervision. In certain assignments, you may also perform hands-on work with tools.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Construction Planning
- Strategic Planning
- Work with BIM professionals
- Create and organize Integrated Project Teams (IPT)
- Develop Control Take-Off plans
- Optimize site logistics
- Plan and implement temporary power and lighting setups
- Determine appropriate staffing
- Review and refine the Project Master Safety Plan
- Oversee and enforce safety practices
- Construction Execution
- Strategic Scheduling
- Scope allocation & leadership
- Material Management
- Ensure Foremen have necessary tools, materials, and resources
- Project Oversight
- Create as-built drawings, panel schedules, and project updates
- Monitor production metrics, maintain daily reports, and verify timesheets
- Quality Assurance
- Coordinate inspections with AHJs
- Project Closeout
- As-built turnover
- Contractual compliance
- Vendor coordination
- Tool management
- Owner stock verification
- Closeout collaboration
Requirements
- Familiarity with OSHA 10 qualifications (OSHA 30 is a plus)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft 365 and construction software (e.g., Bluebeam Studio)
- Fundamental knowledge of construction management and scheduling techniques
- Basic understanding of workforce productivity and resource planning
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong ability to complete due diligence and risk assessment
Qualifications
- 3+ years of field experience in electrical construction, including supervisory or leadership roles
- High School diploma or GED
- Certified Colorado Journeyman Electrical License
- Accredited electrical trades school certification (preferred)
Benefits
- Salary Range: $98,890 - $142,155
- Non-exempt bargaining role eligible for overtime
- Benefits specified in the corresponding collective bargaining agreement
