Foreman

About the role

Arcosa Aggregates is a leading producer and distributor of construction materials and services. We are currently seeking a Foreman for our Cyril, OK plant.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
• Manage plant production operations to achieve maximum productivity and equipment availability at the lowest sustainable cost.
• Plans and organize daily activities for team.
• Develop action plans and measures to meet and/or exceed budgeted production and ensure proper cost measures are enforced.
• Attend scheduled departmental and safety meetings.
• Comply with strict safety procedures, following all MSHA guidelines.
• Coincides plant operations activities with Plant Manager to ensure that the strategic operational goals for the plant are met.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years leadership experience
• Ability to think strategically and creatively in generating solutions
• Highly organized and capable of effective, efficient multi-tasking
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to effectively present information to others
• Ability to process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information to help make sound business decisions
• Proven leadership skills to ensure support around common goals and to motivate groups or individuals
• Mine Safety Training (MSHA) – will train upon hire
