What You’ll Be Doing
Oversee daily shop operations—prioritize workloads, assign tasks, and keep repair timelines on track.
Lead a team of diesel mechanics, offering technical guidance, coaching, and support to ensure quality work every time.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers, setting the gold standard for performance.
Monitor preventative maintenance schedules and emergency repairs—nothing gets past you.
Order parts, manage inventory, and track repair costs to keep operations efficient and budget-conscious.
Ensure safety compliance and uphold the highest standards in every repair and procedure.
Communicate directly with drivers, dispatch, and leadership, acting as the bridge between shop and road.
Train and mentor new mechanics, helping develop the next generation of diesel pros.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong diagnostic skills and deep knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, and trailer systems.
- Comfortable with shop software, repair tracking tools, and basic computer tasks.
- DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance knowledge.
- A team-focused, can-do attitude—you motivate others and lead by example.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize repairs, and stay cool under pressure.
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Monday - Friday, 5:00pm-1:30am
- Competitive pay based on experience
