About the role

At Harrison Contracting Company (HCC), Foremen are not just supervisors but leaders who run jobs, lead crews, and step in when needed. They set standards, ensure work is done safely and on time, and communicate effectively with Superintendents and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise painting & pressure washing crews on commercial and industrial projects
• Plan daily work, set crew expectations, and keep jobs moving
• Oversee surface prep, painting, coatings, and pressure washing
• Step in hands-on when needed to support the crew or solve problems
• Communicate daily with Superintendents and customers
• Manage tools, materials, and equipment usage
• Lead weekly toolbox talks and enforce the Job Site Safety Plan (JSSP)

Requirements

• Prior Foreman or Lead experience in commercial painting or construction
• Strong leadership - crews respect you because you know the work
• Comfortable being both leader and doer when the job demands it
• Organized, reliable, and safety-minded
• Clear communicator who keeps jobs on track

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Background check & drug screening per policy
