Foreign Trade Data Analytics Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the collection, validation, and reconciliation of import and trade-related data from multiple sources.
• Aid in data gathering, cleansing, and analysis activities to enhance data quality and reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to acquire missing documentation and resolve data discrepancies.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving data integration, reporting processes, and operational workflows.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Contribute to ongoing data and analytics projects supporting business reporting and operational decision-making.
• Create and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and data governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic business objectives.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or Python.
• Interest in supply chain, logistics, international business, or operational analytics.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data validation activities.
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and documentation practices.
