Overview
ITC Defense is seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Analyst to support the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) through the U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program. The role involves providing logistics and supply chain support to ensure the timely and effective sustainment of critical defense capabilities for an international partner.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), NAVSUP, DLA, and other U.S. Department of Defense organizations to coordinate logistics support and resolve supply chain issues for FMS cases.
- Manage daily logistics operations by reviewing and prioritizing customer requests, processing routine and high-priority requisitions, monitoring demand status, and ensuring timely resolution of logistics actions.
- Perform inventory and supply management activities including price and availability inquiries, requisition creation and modification, exception management, alternate sourcing analysis, supply assistance requests, and requisition expediting.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation, Bench Level Instructions, and operational records while ensuring compliance with NAVSUP WSS procedures and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain expertise in FMS logistics systems and processes by completing required NAVSUP WSS training, maintaining applicable qualifications, and supporting the training and onboarding of new personnel.
- Prepare reports, communicate logistics status to customer organizations, and provide responsive support to ensure successful execution of Australian FMS logistics operations.
- Support repair management activities, including Return of Repair (RoR) and Repair in Repair Out (RIRO) processes, carcass tracking, technical data requests, documentation, investigations, and actions to prevent unnecessary charges.
- Prepare Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), Transportation Discrepancy Reports (TDRs), shipping priority changes, and freight actions while coordinating with freight forwarders, the Australian Embassy, and other stakeholders to resolve transportation issues.
- Investigate and assist in resolving FMS billing discrepancies and support ongoing logistics reporting, pricing analyses, MAPAD reviews, Common Technical Publication requests, and JHMCS spare requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics or a closely related defense logistics environment.
- Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of Foreign Military Sales logistics processes and sustainment activities.
- Experience using SCIP, MISIL, or comparable DoD logistics and supply chain systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively with U.S. Government personnel, international customers, and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS).
- Experience supporting Australian Foreign Military Sales programs or other international defense programs.
- Knowledge of U.S. Navy and Department of Defense Foreign Military Sales policies, procedures, and logistics systems.
- Experience supporting inventory management, transportation, repair management, or supply discrepancy resolution within an FMS environment.
- Familiarity with Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) or Australian Defence Force (ADF) logistics operations.
