Foreign Military Sales Analyst, SR.

Job Summary

Supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs by assisting case managers and program managers in analyzing, managing, and executing FMS casework in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and acquisition guidance.

Essential Duties

• Supports the efforts and actions of Case Managers, Program Managers, and Team Leads for FMS programs
• Affords assistance in analyzing FMS casework
• Affords assistance in managing FMS casework
• Safeguards execution of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act
• Safeguards execution of FMS casework in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)
• Safeguards execution of FMS casework in accordance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Safeguards execution of FMS casework in accordance with applicable DoD acquisition policy guidance

Education

MA/MS degree

Experience

More than 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Knowledge, Skill And Abilities

• Knowledge of the Arms Export Control Act
• Knowledge of the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM)
• Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition policy guidance
• Ability to analyze and manage FMS casework
