Foreign Military Sales Financial Analyst, Senior
About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. This position is hybrid and requires on-site attendance one day per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial management expertise on multiple customer/country programs
- Use knowledge of FMS financial reconciliation to support the Government financial managers in reconciling FMS case financials
- Respond to data calls in support of Program Reviews, Financial Reviews and case closure efforts
- Prepare documentation for implementation, execution, reconciliation, and closure of FMS cases
- Prepare presentations and reports and brief them to USG clients and foreign partners
- Ensure the delivery of high quality and accurate products to the Government
- Aid in the development of programs' financial briefings and reports, including analyses of programs' financial health and affordability
- Aid the Government in the generation of metrics and trend analysis
- Travel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC’s clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a school accredited in the US
- 8+ years’ experience in FMS financial management with a strong understanding of the case closure
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to identify and track requirements
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clients
Pay
Compensation policy salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer. Factors include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's qualifications, and the contractual terms of the program.
