About the role
Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. is a leading mortgage subservicing firm with several hundred financial institution clients nationwide. As a Foreclosure Specialty Representative II on the Cash & Quotes Team, you will monitor and expedite foreclosure processes while ensuring compliance with various guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Partner with foreclosure attorneys to ensure timely, accurate, and guideline-compliant handling of assigned loans.
- Handle a higher volume of files and escalated issues than junior staff.
- Ensure all actions to place a loan into foreclosure are within appropriate investor and legal guidelines and timelines.
- Filing of first action, service, judgment, foreclosure sales, and notification of investors.
- Prepare bidding instruction figures for all loan types.
- Process the sale on all loan types.
- Timely and accurately update reports for Freddie Mac DFRI, Fannie Mae Laser, and HUD SFDMS.
- Process invoices, verify amounts against established guidelines, and ensure timely payment remittance.
- Keep foreclosure screens accurately updated.
- Train and mentor junior staff.
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the department.
- Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Team specific duties and tasks
- Cash and Quotes Team
- On-site 5 days per week
- Daily Cash runs - Providing critical live checks and documents to multiple areas of DMIScanning clerical records of cash documents
- Handling tasks and letter orders relating to Foreclosure Cash Returns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong PC skills: Proficient with Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle complex, multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of both internal and external audiences.
- 1+ years of Mortgage, Foreclosure, or Loan experience.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate/experience preferred.
- Experience with MSP preferred.
