About the role

Sam Galloway Ford Lincoln is a fourth generation family owned dealership that has been doing business in Lee County since 1927. We support several different charitable organizations throughout Southwest Florida, including the American Cancer Society, the preservation of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates, and the Community Cooperative Ministries (The Soup Kitchen).

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Provide a positive, friendly attitude and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Other duties may be assigned according to skill level and certification.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and multimedia skills.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Positive, friendly attitude with an eagerness to improve.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background check, MVR, and drug screen.

Top pay ranging from $60,000 - $100,000+
