Footwise Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager is a full-time, in-store position responsible for running and operating a store to company standards. The position is paid on a commission structure, allowing for growth in earnings through increased sales and team motivation.

Responsibilities

• Foster a healthy, structured environment for the sales team.
• Ensure the store opens and closes daily according to standards.
• Promote and maintain excellent customer service.
• Manage daily transactions, inventory, and bank deposits.
• Maintain and guide the team to provide equal care and consideration to each customer.
• Create and manage staff schedules and store timeclocks.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and presentable store to company standards.
• Communicate regularly with Operations, Sales, and Buying Teams.
• Set and maintain sales goals by tracking associates' performance, providing training, and communicating incentives and promotions.
• Understand and communicate Point-of-Sale operations to the team.
• Communicate store merchandise needs to the Buying Team to stay competitive.
• Respond to internal and external requests courteously and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous management or supervisory experience required.
• Fashion retail sales experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Training rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training.
• Base pay of $150.00 per week.

Schedule

• Open 7 days a week.
• Full-time position (40+ hours per week).
• The Store Manager has the option of having Sunday & Monday as their normal days off or Sunday and one of Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
