Football - Assistant Coach (2026-27)

About the role

Everett Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach to support its athletic programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning, organizing, and conducting practices and competitions
• Provide instruction and guidance to student-athletes in skill development and sportsmanship
• Help maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Support the head coach with administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous coaching or playing experience in the relevant sport
• Knowledge of rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport
• Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, and staff
• Commitment to upholding district policies and athletic program values

Pay

Compensation is determined by the Everett Coaches / Extracurricular Association collective bargaining agreement.
