Foodservice Worker/Caterer

About the role

Performs routine food portioning, serving, and cleaning tasks to ensure a professional service standard. The position is focused on catering in a clinical environment, requiring physically demanding work such as lifting and campus deliveries. Success depends on organization, flexibility, and precision under tight timelines. Catering, events, or banquet experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute various tasks within the foodservice area such as food preparation, packaging, and deliveries.
• Clean and sanitize food service areas in compliance with management and regulatory standards.
• Measure food ingredients and record temperatures of food storage areas.
• Handle food trays, store items in refrigeration, and manage supplies and utensils.
• Read and interpret patient meal tickets, labels, and recipes, with potential cash handling responsibilities.
• Adhere to policies and procedures in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
