FOOD UNIT LEAD (FULL TIME)
About the role
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediate full-time FOOD UNIT LEAD positions. The location is Piedmont Columbus Midtown - 710 Center Street, Columbus, GA 31901. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full time with days and hours varying, including weekends. A minimum of 5 years of previous food service and supervisory experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provides quality customer service by attending to customer needs personally.
- Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverages according to company standards.
- Helps plan menus and ensures timely, efficient meal service.
- Serves as a point of contact for customer complaints, addressing them promptly.
- Trains employees and coordinates their work to enhance efficiency and excellence.
- Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and manages workflow.
- Completes required reports such as inventory-cash reports, production records, payroll, and time-keeping.
- Handles cash transactions according to the Food Accounting Manual.
- Orders food and supplies from approved sources.
- Ensures proper sanitation and safety standards are met.
- Develops and enforces a sanitation schedule.
- Issues instructions and assists in staff training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required: 5 years of previous food service and supervisory experience.

Pay
$16.00 per hour to $19.00 per hour.
