FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER (FULL TIME)
About the role
Canteen is hiring a full-time FOOD TRANSPORTER/DELIVERY DRIVER immediately. The position is located at Canteen - 201 Egel Avenue, Middlesex, NJ 08846. Online applications are accepted only. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company truck or van to deliver food, beverages, coffee, snacks, and other products to designated customer locations while providing exceptional customer service.
- Load, transport, and unload products safely and efficiently, ensuring deliveries are accurate, secure, and completed on schedule.
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation standards by ensuring perishable products are transported at required temperatures and handled in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle, and promptly report any maintenance or equipment issues to ensure safe operation.
- Interact with coworkers to ensure company service standards.
- Provide quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous driving and customer service experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Pay
$22.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour.
