FOOD SVC WORKER
The University of California, Irvine (UCI) seeks a Food Service Worker to assist with the preparation and serving of food, proper food handling, and customer service. This is a partial year career position for 10 months at 100%.
About the role
Under supervision of Food Service Manager and/or Cook, the Food Service Worker will assist with food preparation, proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and customer service. The position requires working nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and serving
- Handle knives and equipment safely
- Sanitize and clean equipment and utensils
- Set up food service lines in an organized manner
- Provide excellent customer service
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas
