Food Services Team Member - Driver

About the role

This position is primarily a Food Services Worker with secondary driving responsibilities. The employee performs a variety of food service duties including food preparation and service, cleaning and sanitation, stocking, transporting food and supplies, and other departmental tasks. Additionally, the employee operates a 15‑foot box truck equipped with a liftgate to transport food, supplies, and serviceware between locations, providing coverage for the primary driver as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, servery, and seating areas
• Stock supplies and transport food and materials
• Empty trash receptacles and assist receivers
• Check and record hot and cold temperatures
• Wash dishes
• Operate hospital vehicle (15‑foot box truck with liftgate) to deliver food and related supplies
• Provide backup driving coverage for scheduled days off, vacation, and other absences

Requirements

• Valid State Driver's license with a maximum of four accrued penalty points

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour.
