Food Services Prep Assistant (On-Call)

Primary responsibilities

• Preparation of food
• Upholding food sanitation standards
• Serving food and beverage in a timely and courteous manner

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated customer service excellence
• Basic math ability to accurately count and handle money
• Food prep experience (preferred)
• Experience relevant to similar facility or school operation (preferred)
• Experience in a team-oriented environment

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Able to communicate with students, parents and staff in a professional and friendly manner
• Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines
• Able to follow verbal and written directions
• Basic math, addition, subtraction. Count money and give accurate change

Physical requirements

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Able to drive a golf cart
