About the role

The Food Services Driver position is responsible for coordinating with other food service employees to ensure timely preparation of menu items for meal service times and satellite delivery schedules. This role involves operating a food service vehicle to transport meals, food items, and supplies safely, and ensuring the accurate portioning and packing of meals for delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with other food service employees to prepare and deliver meals on time.
• Operates a food service vehicle to transport meals and supplies safely.
• Accurately portion and pack meals for delivery.
• Cleans and maintains work areas, serving counters, and kitchen equipment.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance on the food service vehicle.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings and in-service training.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand oral and written English, follow oral and written instructions, and perform simple arithmetic.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service operations preferred.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety procedures.
• Ability to operate a food service vehicle safely.
