Food Services Cashier - PRN
About the Role
As a Food Service Cashier at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, you will accurately and rapidly ring meals on the cash register while demonstrating excellent customer service for the Food & Nutrition Department.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting money for food sold in the cafeteria.
- Prepare and display food for sale in the cafeteria.
- Maintain sanitation of all equipment within the cafeteria.
- Restock all retail items as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or equivalent, or have four years of work-related experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to add and subtract numbers.
- Ability to handle patron complaints with respect.
Pay
$18.00 - $21.42 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
Schedule
- Part-time, PRN (as needed) with a rotating shift, including every other weekend.
