Food Services Associate

Responsibilities

• Prepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies
• Provides a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public
• Ensures timely, accurate, and courteous service
• Enforces associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety
• Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
• No experience required
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Must have the ability to operate kitchen equipment
• Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations
• Must adhere to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption
• Requires the ability to climb ladders
• Physical requirements include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time
