Food Services Assistant-Brook Lane Laurel Hall Frederick

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, deliver, and serve meals while following safe food handling guidelines and student dietary restrictions.
• Complete and maintain required temperature logs in accordance with Maryland Department of Health regulations.
• Safely operate a Meritus-owned delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Sanitize food service equipment, delivery vehicles, and containers to ensure a safe environment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and follow the Meritus Code of Conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Prior experience in food preparation and handling is required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no moving violations in the past 3 years preferred) is required.
• An annual certified copy of driving record is required.
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions is essential.
