Food Service Worker, Variable Part-Time Rotating Shifts, Nutrition Services

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced team member who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and working in the kitchen at various stations (i.e., Salad, Catering, Grill, Pizza, and Deli)
• Serving food in the tray line, cleaning equipment, utensils, and collecting trash
• Ensuring products are produced promptly under appropriate food safety guidelines
• Completing all documentation of time and temperature

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; relevant work experience considered in lieu of
• Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred; willing to train
• ServSafe certification or ability to pass ServSafe within 60 days

Schedule

• Employment Type: Variable Part-time
• Hours per Week: 12 hrs/week
• Typical Daily Schedule: 4pm - 8pm and some AM shifts as needed
• Shift Type: Evening
• Weekend Requirements: Required every other weekend rotation
• Holiday Requirements: Required/On-call (follow company holiday calendar)
• On-Call: No
• Shift Differential Eligible: Yes

Pay

Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.79
