About the role
RSU #73 seeks a dependable and motivated individual to join their school food service program at Spruce Mountain High School, serving grades 9-12.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals to students and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Provide friendly service to all
- Help with inventory and stocking supplies
Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team with good communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- High school diploma or equivalent, with previous food service experience preferred, and cooking experience is a plus
- Must take and pass a State Sanitation and Food Safety Managers course within one year of employment
- Must have a Maine State Law compliant Criminal History Records Check (CHRC)
- Experience working with students with social and emotional challenges is preferred
