Food Service Worker PRN

About the role

Assembles patient meals, prepares cold food items and completes sanitation duties. Responsible for food preparation according to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points. Completes warewashing tasks as directed. Develops positive relations with other team members and functions competently in team environment. Ensures completion of daily tasks according to established quality and service guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assemble patient meals
• Prepare cold food items
• Complete sanitation duties
• Follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) for food preparation
• Perform warewashing tasks as directed
• Maintain positive team relations and function effectively in a team environment
• Complete daily tasks according to established quality and service guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience in a hospitality service environment (preferred)
• Verbal ability to read and understand written instructions, recipes, and labels (preferred)

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or Certificate (preferred)
