Food Service Worker - Per Diem - Varied Shift - 8hr ICH

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, distribution, and service of patient and employee meals.
• Prepare and portion salads, desserts, beverages, and special patient snacks.
• Set up and break down cafeteria food and supplies for each meal.
• Function as the steam table server throughout the meal period.
• Wash dishes and trays, and store them for future use.
• Assemble daily nourishment orders and transport them to patient areas as required.
• Maintain and clean all food preparation equipment used throughout the day.
• Participate in special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Exhibit knowledge of appropriate food handling techniques and general rules of sanitation.
• Attend in-service sessions as presented in the department.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Serve Safe Certification preferred.
• HACCP certification preferred.

Pay

$24.00 per hour.
