Responsibilities
- Assist in the general clean-up of the kitchen, dining room and storage areas, including refrigerated storage.
- Maintain cleanliness for all cooking utensils and associated equipment.
- Advise Food Service Manager of any irregularities with food preparation, availability of food items/supplies and failure of equipment.
- Collect and stack dirty dishes, wash dishes and clean work area.
- Perform tray line duties: read orders on menu cards on trays to determine items to place on tray; place items such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays; prepare food items such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school graduate or GED certification
- Minimum of one year previous experience preferred
