About the role

Join our energetic and optimistic team as a Part-time Food Service Worker at the Saint Anselm College Coffee Shop in Manchester, NH. Multiple positions and schedules are available in a fun, fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement. The school is on the bus route, and employees receive a free meal while working.

Schedule

• Weekdays: 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
• Weekends: 5:45 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products, and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail, and dining areas following proper guest service procedures (smiling, making eye contact, and greeting guests).
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties.

Requirements

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate with team members, other departments, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain professional relationships with all team members, vendor representatives, and client representatives.
