Food Service Worker/Part-time, Evening Shift

About the role

This position performs routine food service tasks including food preparation, serving meals to residents, dishwashing and cleaning the food service areas while following established food service policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Minimum qualifications

• Knowledge of materials and methods used in preparing food
• Knowledge of care and use of cooking utensils and equipment
• Knowledge of food values and nutrition
• Ability to perform simple cooking on a large scale
• Ability to plan and prepare small meals on a household scale
• Ability to perform cleaning and food service tasks
• Ability to follow instructions

Preferred qualifications

• Experience prepping, plating, and serving food
• Knowledge of basic sanitation standards

Pay

$20.87 - $25.88 / hourly, with an additional $2.25/hour for all hours worked after 6:00 pm and before 6:00 am.

Schedule

Part-time, primarily evening shift (4:00pm - 7:30pm). Days of work vary. The work schedule will include at least 10 hours per two-week pay period and may include additional work hours based on business needs.
